Celebrating International Men’s Day and positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities, the Belfast Men’s Health Group and members of the Belfast Trust joined together to raise money for Friends of the Cancer Centre. It was a wonderful event and really well attended from staff across the Trust in particular from Health Improvement, PCSS and Suffolk day centre. We also had folks from the Men’s Shed, CRUSE, Sustrans, Men Health Forum in Ireland, and GLL. We raised £223.62 at a Spinathon in the Cancer Centre and staff from Spoons café in the RVH raised £700. A grant total of £923.62 donated to Friends of the Cancer Centre  – Magnificent effort all round.
