Please find attached an invitation to the Launch of the “HSE Social Prescribing Framework: Mainstreaming Social Prescribing In Partnership with Community & Voluntary Organisations” on Thursday July 15^th @ 11:00 – 12:30.
 
Social Prescribing is a means of enabling healthcare professionals and other professionals to refer people to a range of local non-clinical services primarily provided by the Community & Voluntary Sector.  This Framework sets out a common approach for the delivery of Social Prescribing across the HSE in collaboration with the Community & Voluntary Sector.

Minister Frank Feighan, Minister of State with responsibility for Public Health, Wellbeing and National Drugs Strategy will officially launch the Framework.  The event will include input from staff in the delivery of Social Prescribing and Service Users of Social Prescribing followed by a panel discussion.
